Not all selections and markets can form part of combi bets.
• System Bet — A system bet comprises several combination and single bets on the same slip. Unlike an accumulator bet, which requires all selections to be spot on, a system bet can win even if only a few legs or selections pan out. The number of selections usually ranges from three to eight, so we highly recommend that players first practise with simple wagers.

We also offer a bet builder, which allows you to place multiple bets from the same event — like building an accumulator from markets on the same match. The advantages of using a bet builder lie primarily in the odds. You may be interested in several markets with less-than-optimal odds, for example, which would make for poor stand-alone choices. You can combine these selections with a bet builder and get auto-generated combo odds that may be significantly better.

ONLINE BETTING ODDS

Displayed in a fractional, decimal or moneyline format, betting odds are numerical representations of the likelihood of an event happening. The odds also indicate the possible earnings players may receive from backing the specific selection or market.

In general terms, the lower the odds are, the greater the possibility that the outcome is likely to occur; therefore, you stand to win less. The higher the fraction or decimal betting values are, the less likely that outcome is to occur and, therefore, the more you stand to win.

Moneyline odds, also known as American odds, are a function of the wager relative to the winnings, based on a €100 bet. A wager on the favourite (-) shows the sum you need to wager to win €100, while a bet on the underdog (+) indicates the sum you would win if you wager €100.

FILLING YOUR BETSLIP

If you’re ready to place a wager, it’s time to look over the betslip, which is sometimes referred to as a ‘ticket’ or simply ‘bet slip’. By default, your betslip is empty, so it’s up to you to build your bets how you see fit. First, click on the gear icon to bring up the settings. There, you can choose whether you want to accept any odds changes or would rather keep them as is. You can also specify how you would like your odds to be displayed (decimal, fractional or moneyline format).

Next, make sure you are on the right match and verify your selections. You wouldn’t want to back Aston Villa in the FA Cup when you meant to support Manchester United! Then, verify the odds for your selections and input your desired wager. Once you’ve verified that everything is correct, give it another look (just in case!) and confirm your betslip. If you win, your winnings will be paid out after the bet settlement.

At times, you may be unfamiliar with an event and its participating teams. If you know nothing about but want to wager on the Africa Cup of Nations, home, draw or away match-winner bets may be the safest and most responsible options. You can always kick things up a notch, but the safer route is the best way to go.
