THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS — The UCI Road World Championships is an annual road bicycle racing competition for national teams, featuring events for road race, individual time trial and mixed team relay. ULTRA-DISTANCE RACES — Ultra-distance cycling, or ultra-endurance races, stretch over at least 100mi (160km) and take place on varied terrain. These races are all about endurance and pacing, offering some of the most spectacular cycling action there is. Look out for Cape Epic, Mallorca 312, Dirty Kanza XL, the Transcontinental Race and the Silk Road Mountain Race.
