Race Winners

Max Verstappen – The 23-year old 10-time race winner comes out of pre-season testing as the favourite this Sunday, sporting odds of 13/10 (2.30) to become the first victor of the 2021 F1 season. With the Red Bull RB16B looking like a machine capable of challenging Mercedes, Max Verstappen could finally be in the running for a serious campaign in the Driver Championship, with a season spent fighting for victories instead of top 3 finishes.

Lewis Hamilton – The seven-time Formula 1 champion is measured at 14/9 (2.55) to win his 96th Grand Prix race this weekend. Although struggling to find a good balance with the new Mercedes W12 during pre-season testing, even the harshest critics would have a hard time ruling out a victory for Lewis Hamilton, who remains the favourite in the Outright World Championship market at 4/9 (1.45).

Valtteri Bottas – An unorthodox 2021 F1 season could prove to be the moment Valtteri Bottas has been waiting for, with his chances of securing his 10th race victory at 23/4 (6.75) this Sunday. Although his contract was extended by a year until the end of 2021, Valtteri Bottas remains a controversial figure to hold the second seat of Mercedes. With a machine under him that should be more than capable of allowing him to fight for victories, we expect the Finnish driver to push his critics to the side, take a page out of his team principle’s book, and do his talking on track this season.

Sergio Perez – Signed up after claiming a career-high fourth place in the 2020 F1 Driver Championships, Red Bull’s new Mexican driver comes in at 27/4 (7.75) to win the Bahrain GP. Although leaving it unbelievably late in the season to sign a new contract and secure a drive for 2021, Sergio Perez has proven to be a capable driver worth his salt over his 195 race career – especially with memories of his first outstanding win in 2020 still fresh in the memory of fans and rivals.

Top 3 Finishers

McLaren driversLando Norris at 23/4 (6.75) and Daniel Ricciardo at 39/10 (4.90) look likely contenders for a top-three finish this Sunday. With the Mercedes-powered McLaren MCL35M looking impressive during pre-season testing, we wouldn’t put it past our favourite Aussie driver or our favourite Twitch streamer to secure big points for last years’ third-place team this weekend.

Sebastian Vettel –  After six seasons racing for the Scuderia, four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel switches Ferrari red for Aston Martin green this weekend. With the substantial backing of Lawrence Stroll behind them, everyone expects the new team on the grid to challenge the major players around the world this season. Sebastian Vettel is at 14/1 (15.00) to finish on the podium this Sunday.
