EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL: BETTING TIPS

RANGERS

Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be looking to bring a European trophy back to Scotland for the first time since 1972, when Rangers lifted the European Cup Winners’ Cup after triumphing against Dynamo Moscow 3-2 in Barcelona. It will be one of the most memorable campaigns for the Scottish side, adding a cup to their trophy haul and being named one of the best clubs in Europe at the time.

Their Europa League campaign has heavily relied on comebacks at the Ibrox, soaking up the atmosphere and pushing their limits. However, far removed from home soil, the Gers will be eyeing a performance similar to the one at the Signal Iduna Park, when they took control of the game and showed their travelling expertise.

Top goalscorer Tavernier has been an unlikely source of goals who now sits at seven goals in total. He is at 37/10 (4.70) to add to the tally anytime during the game.

Both teams to score in the second half is priced at 13/7 (2.85).

We are pricing a halftime draw and Rangers edging it in the second half at 55/10 (6.50)

ROAD TO THE FINAL:

The Scottish side came second in Group A with eight points just one more than third-placed Sparta Prague. The performance throughout the Group stages was far from perfect, lacking consistency in performance especially losing the first two fixtures of the campaign.

After reaching the knockout stage, Rangers sprung into life when they travelled to the Signal Iduna Park and came out victorious 4-2. They followed up the performance in Germany with a 2-2 draw at the Ibrox which sealed their place in the next round.

The round of 16 fixture was more straightforward for the Scottish side, as they brushed aside Crvena Zvezda 3-0 at home, followed by a 2-1 loss away from home which ultimately saw Rangers go through 4-2 on aggregate score.

All the hard work was about to get undone when they faced Braga away from home and got beat 1-0 by Braga. An early goal at the Ibrox set the tone of the game with Rangers pushing back Braga, the game was a draw at fulltime and the tie had to go to extra time. It was Kemar Roofe in the 101st minute that confirmed the comeback.

In the semi-final it was the same result in the first leg away from home, Rangers lost 1-0 to RB Leipzig but they did all the hard work at the magical Ibrox Stadium as they turned it around by winning 3-1 on the night and sealing their ticket to the Final in Seville.

EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

Similarly to Rangers, the German side has enjoyed European glory just once in their history when they won the Uefa Cup Winners Cup in the year 79/80. The final will act as a gateway back to European football for next year due to the Eagles’ dire position in the Bundesliga as they sit in 11th place. In the Bundesliga Frankfurt are winless in their last nine outings, showing that all the focus is on the Final to get a Champions League place next year.

Going winless is never a good omen for a team that is competing for a title but throughout those games, they drew six of them showing they have a great neck of not losing games even when not playing at their best. This shows also that the team have a great fighting spirit, accredited to their coach Oliver Glasner. The Austrian coach backs his side to come out victorious next Wednesday as their main strength is the unity within the team, a trait that every successful side needs to have.

We are backing the Eagles to triumph in Seville with a correct score of 2-1 at 31/4 (8.75), with Kostic being amongst the goalscorers anytime during the match at 18/5 (4.60).

Eintracht Frankfurt are priced at 29/10 (3.90) to win the game in to nil whilst both teams to score is at 13/20 (1.65).

LV BET Is pricing as well an Eintracht Frankfurt win in the first half at 13/7 (2.85)

ROAD TO THE FINAL:

Eintracht Frankfurt topped Group D, registering three wins and three draws, making them one of the few teams that won the group without losing a game. Since the German side won the group, they had one less game to play which sent them directly to the round of 16 stages of the competition.

Frankfurt managed to win away from home against Real Betis by 2-1, which was then followed up by a 1-1 draw pushing the Germans to the quarter-finals against Barcelona.

Coming against Barcelona is never easy, even when they are going through one of the worst seasons in their history. Eintracht Frankfurt held on to a 1-1 draw after going down to 10 men in the 76th minute. At Camp Nou, it was a special night for the Eagles as they won 3-2 on the night with three goals being scored in injury time.

Next up in the Semifinal was West Ham, against who the Germans won 2-1 away from home after going one up in the opening seconds of the game. In the second leg in Germany, Frankfurt sealed their passage to the Final when they won 1-0.
