EUROPA LEAGUE SEMI-FINALS: BETTING TIPS
EINTRACHT FRANKFURT VS WEST HAM
FIRST LEG RESULT: 1-2 (Michail Antonio 21’ VS Ansgar Knauff 1’, Daichi Kamada 54’)
In the first leg, the German side enjoyed an electric start, scoring within the first minute of the game to take the Hammers by surprise. Throughout the contest, West Ham had their fair share of chances, with two big ones falling at the feet of Bowen at either side of half-time and hitting the woodwork.
In their previous Premier League fixture, West Ham lost 2-1 to their London rivals Arsenal, continuing a string of disappointing results – winless in their last four games. Similarly, Eintracht Frankfurt lost to Bayer Leverkusen away from home, making it third defeat in seven games.
Oliver Glasner will want his side to start well and not concede any early chances to the away team in the hope that they can maintain their push for silverware and secure a place in the Europa League final.
One can get both teams to score at 7/10 (1.70), with West Ham to win with over 2.5 goals scored in the match at 33/10 (4.30)
If you anticipate a tactical game, we are pricing under 2.5 goals in the match at 11/12 (1.92).
As with most of these intense games, we are backing a half-time West Ham win, with Eintracht Frankfurt winning the second half at 9/10 (1.90).
We are also pricing Michail Antonio to score anytime during the game at 29/10 (3.90) whilst pricing Kostic to net at 37/10 (4.70).
Previous game line-up:
West Ham – Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Cresswell, Fredericks, Soucek, Rice, Fornals, Lanzini, Benrahma and Bowen
Eintracth Frankfurt – Trapp, Tuta, Hasebe, Chandler, Jakic, Hrustic, Kostic, Hauge, Ache and Paciencia.
Injuries or suspensions:
West Ham – Angelo Ogbonna, Issa Diop, Kurt Zouma and Aaron Cresswell (Red Card Suspension)
Eintracht Frankfurt – Ramaj, Lenz, Schroder, Ndicka, Jaki.
MATCH ODDS: Eintracht Frankfurt are priced at 13/9 (2.45) to win, whilst West Ham are at 19/10 (2.90), and a draw at 22/9 (3.45)
RANGERS VS RB LEIPZIG
FIRST LEG RESULT: 1-0 (Angelino 85’)
Leipzig take a narrow 1-0 lead into their semi-final second leg over Rangers. The hosts dominated throughout their first encounter, and although they were unable to add more goals in front of their home fans, the match itself was a one-sided affair with a number of spurned chances the Germans may come to regret. It’s all to play for at Ibrox as Rangers hope they can turn this around.
In their most recent Bundesliga game, RB Leipzig were on the wrong end of a contest against Borussia Monchengladbach – losing the game 3-1. Rangers, on the other hand, played out an entertaining 1-1 draw against rivals Celtic in the last Old Firm derby of the season. Sakala could have sealed the deal for Rangers on the day and bagged the winner late on in the game, but the woodwork denied him the chance to clinch a vital three points.
Both teams are eager to reach a final but at the Ibrox Stadium, who will it be?
We are anticipating an open game with plenty of chances and pricing both teams to score at 16/15 (2.07)
You can also get a win for RB Leipzig and over 2.5 goals to be scored at 49/50 (1.98).
In-form Nkunku to score anytime during the match is at 21/20 (2.05), whilst Rangers’ prolific scorer right-back James Tavernier is at 29/4 (8.25) to score anytime.
Rangers are at 3/10 (1.30) to score first in the match.
Previous game line-up:
RB Leipzig – Gulasci, Simakan, Orban, Halstenberg, Kampl, Mukiele, Tasende, Adams, Forsberg, Poulsen and Nkunku
Rangers – McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic, Lundstram, Davis, Kent, Arfield, Aribo and Sakala.
Injuries or Suspension:
RB Leipzig – Haidara, Klostermann, Willi Orban, Simakan (Yellow Card Suspension)
Rangers – Ofoborh, Ianis Hagi, Morelos, Helander.
MATCH ODDS: Rangers are priced at 23/9 (3.55), whilst RB Leipzig are at 51/50 (2.02), and a draw at 20/7 (3.85)
