JAMES MORRISON VS MANCHESTER UNITED
2010/11 Season
A young James Morrison volleyed home one of the greatest strikes you’ll ever see to bring Albion level with Alex Ferguson’s infamous Red Devils.
The Englishman, who was renowned for his ability to strike the ball, found himself in the right place at the right time to smash the ball well past United defenders and leave goalkeeper, Thomas Kuszczak grasping at thin air.
ANDY JOHNSON VS BOLTON WANDERERS
2004/5 Season
After a tough 04/05 season for West Bromwich Albion, who were fighting hard in a relegation scrap, substitute Andy Johnson provided his side with a lifeline after the Welshman took his chance as a substitute to convert from point-blank range – ensuring jubilant celebrations at The Hawthorns.
ZOLTAN GERA VS LIVERPOOL
2012/13 Season
They don’t get much better than this!
Another outside the box screamer, this time coming from a corner that was cleared away by Liverpool’s Skrtel. Zoltan Gera has time to chest and bring the ball down only to blast it right into the left top corner, putting the Baggies in front against Liverpool just before the break.
CHRIS BRUNT VS ARSENAL
2008/09 Season
Club legend Chris Brunt certainly knew how to hit the ball throughout his career. This strike against Arsenal is one that will go down in the history books as he equalised against the Gunners through a disguised free-kick.
The free-kick was taken by Brunt who found a gap in Arsenal’s wall with Almunia unable to get down in time making it 1-1.
