PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURES: ROUND 23 BETTING TIPS

Manchester United vs West Ham United

Manchester United got back to winning ways with an impressive second-half display at Brentford last Wednesday. In 22 minutes, the Red Devils put on a masterclass, scoring three goals and sealing all three points with a 3-1 result on the day.

Heading into their London fixture, United will be looking to show that they have finally turned a corner. It’s no secret that their season hasn’t gone exactly as they expected. However, Ralf Rangnick has not been shy to mix things up, substituting megastars – to their displeasure – and putting faith in the likes of Anthony Elanga ahead of more experienced options.

West Ham United, on the other hand, go into their fixture against Manchester United this Saturday off the back of a defeat. The Hammers were run ragged by Leeds United’s newest hattrick hero, Jack Harrison, who kept pushing his side into the lead by scoring goal after goal.

Even with this defeat as their most recent result, David Moyes’ team have still enjoyed a great season. The London side is well in the mix for a top-four European spot, and, although they have played a few games more than their nearest rivals on the table, football fans will know that points on the board will always be worth more than games in hand.

Manchester United line up as the favourites at 49/50 (1.98) to win, with West Ham United at 14/5 (3.80).

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool

New year, same Liverpool. Even without the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, Liverpool find themselves on a five-game undefeated run, with recent wins against Brentford (3-0) in the Premier League, and away against Arsenal (2-0) in the EFL Cup Semi-Final.

With Manchester City 11 points clear and running away with the title, Klopp will be looking to manoeuvre his side into the second-best spot on the table and finally break clear of Chelsea – who have played two more games than the Reds and find themselves a single point behind them.

Can Patrick Viera help break Crystal Palace’s 10-game defeated run against Liverpool? Since his arrival, the ex-Arsenal legend has been a breath of fresh air around the club. He’s got the backing of his players and the fans who have enjoyed watching some great football at Selhurst Park Stadium.

Although they’re still very much a mid-table team, Crystal Palace have mixed it up with the best. The South London side are one of the only two teams to have beaten Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City this season and have picked up points away to Arsenal and West Ham United.

Liverpool are the team to beat this Sunday at 3/5 (1.60) to win, with Crystal Palace measured at 24/5 (5.80).
