Another week rolls by, and that means another round-up from the transfer market. It’s really picking up now with many Premier League sides getting their targets signed, with the likes of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United, Andre Onana to Manchester United, Rice to Arsenal and Dominik Szoboszlai to Liverpool.
Let’s take a look at what moves we could see materialise in the coming weeks and what are the odds of these moves happening as of 20th July 2023.
Saudi Arabia bound
The wave of players flocking to the lavish Saudi Pro League continues as reports continue to intensify around Henderson and Fabinho securing their move to the league. The Liverpool captain is set to receive a drastic increase in his wage at Al-Ettifaq. The deal is set in stone and should be completed in the coming weeks, with Fabinho as well headed in the same direction. Liverpool will pocket £15m for Henderson and £40m for Fabinho.
Another player making the move to Saudi is Riyad Mahrez, which is not a big surprise since he is from Algeria. After winning it all with Manchester City last year, he will continue his stellar career with Al-Ahli, after being the first African player to win the Premier League title five times.
Another former Liverpool player who is looking to reinstate his name in football is Sadio Mane. His stint in the Bundesliga was not fruitful, and Bayern Munich are not willing to offer him another contract. The Saudi League calls and he is priced at 1.33 to join any Saudi Pro League team in the coming weeks.

Rasmus Hojlund
Now that Manchester United have secured the replacement for David De Gea after confirming the signing of Andre Onana from Inter, they are now on the look out for a striker. The key man would ideally be Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen, but the price tag for both players is well above the budget. Atalanta are knowledgable about the financial situation that United have found themselves in and want to exploit it even more.
To be able to fork out the €70-80m that Atalanta are demanding for the Danish striker, they need to sell some players such as Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay. The issue is that since they have comparatively high wages, so they are difficult to move them to another club, if not to the Saudi Pro League.
The reports are suggesting that personal terms are already agreed with the player and it’s just a matter of time until they negotiate a better price tag for the striker.
Josko Gvardiol
The big Croatian defender is bound to play in the Premier League as Manchester City have sealed the deal. A huge turnover of players is happening at the reigning Champions League winners as Mahrez, Joao Cancelo, Walker, Mahrez and Bernardo Silva are being linked with a move away from the Etihad.
Many pundits are calling this signing a pivotal one for the coming years. Gvardiol is lauded to be one of the best young centre-backs in the world, and he was always the target for Pep Guardiola.
Harry Kane
We have talked about a possible move for Harry Kane for weeks, but there is not much in terms of it being confirmed either one way or the other. Bayern Munich has reportedly submitted a second bid in excess of €80, but the England striker is yet to make his feelings known on whether he wants to honour the contract with Spurs or explore other avenues. He is priced at 1.82 to stay at Spurs whilst at 2.37 to confirm the move to Bayern Munich.
It will be a huge decision either way or another, but it will hugely impact the morale in the Spurs camp as their main man will be missing and with not much time to replace him
