FA CUP semi-final preview
It’s a bit of a strange one for Manchester United, they have been here already this season having secured the League Cup, but they are in a really bad place at the minute, in the sense of injuries. Just thinking of losing their two centre halves and the goalscorer which is Marcus Rashford is massive for them. A very professional performance from them against Nottingham Forest, although Forest never really put up a fight and they ran out pretty easy winners in the end. It could have been a lot more if it wasn’t for Keylor Navas who was inspirational in the Nottingham Forest goal. It was a good result for Man United, nevertheless, but against Brighton, it’s going to be a different prospect. Brighton has only one defeat in their last nine, De Zerbi has done a really good job, they have European aspirations, and they beat Chelsea in their last game so confidence is really really high at the moment. They have some key players like McAllister, Caicedo who has settled down, and they don’t miss Trossard really, after his move to Arsenal. I do think, although on paper it’s Man United’s to lose, I quite think it’s the other way around, it’s Brighton’s to lose, they are the team in form, and I am going for a Brighton win over Manchester United in this weekend.
