DATE & VENUE
Initially, the exhibition was intended to take place on the 20 Feb, but was postponed for unknown reasons.
After a couple of months in the dark, Floyd Mayweather took to his social media to announce that his match against Logan Paul had been rescheduled. The Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight is now set for 6 June at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and can be viewed live on Showtime pay-per-view.
When discussing the money he’s likely to make from his fight against Logan Paul, Floyd Mayweather said, “I can fight a fighter right now and I can guarantee myself $35 million.”
“I can eventually probably make $50 million, for just a regular fight.”
“Or me and Logan Paul can go out, entertain, have fun and make nine figures — $100 million or more.”
“Just because I still go out, entertain and have fun doesn’t mean that I still wanna fight for 12 rounds.”
“I think we’ve got a six-round exhibition. I think it’s gonna be very entertaining for the people — I think people are gonna love it.”
“$35 million for 12 rounds or $100 million for six rounds — big difference.”
