FORMULA 1 BRITISH GP: BETTING TIPS

FORMULA 1 BRITISH GP: BETTING TIPS

The British Grand is always one of the biggest dates in the UK sporting calendar.

The wait for a race on home soil is over on Sunday and LV BET are taking a close examination of the race they all want to win.

FORMULA 1 BRITISH  GP: BETTING TIPS

There are many questions to be answered as Silverstone opens its doors once again.

Will Mercedes come good for their home duo?

Can Charles Leclerc stop the rot in the title fight?

And the one everyone seems to be asking – is there actually any stopping Max Verstappen?

As one time title tip Leclerc continues his unravelling at an alarming pace, the Ferrari driver needs a statement win.

In his last six races he has given away 95 points to the championship leader. He can’t afford another act of generosity.

After Monaco, Azerbaijan and Canada in particular, he and the others know the writing will already be on the wall with another Verstappen masterclass.

Lewis Hamilton of course wants another British Grand Prix victory in front of his adoring public.

The chances of that with his current issues seemed almost impossible not so long ago, but his mojo is back – and you can’t rule him out.

The 37-year-old took time off from his busy schedule to soak up the California in preparation but he says he is raring to go on Sunday.

Verstappen is the man to beat and he has “built on his experience from last year” and matured into a better racer, according to his team boss.

Christian Horner feels the Dutchman is learning all the time – and he can take a big stride towards glory with a composed race.

Let battle commence!

BRITISH GRAND PRIX BETTING OPTIONS

LV BET has plenty of massive odds ahead of the huge race this weekend.

We make Max Verstappen the red hot favourite at 9/10 (1.90).

Fancy a Lewis Hamilton fairy-tale? That can be backed at 11/1 (12.00).

He isn’t the only Brit gunning for glory of course – George Russell to take his first ever chequered flag is 12/1 (13.00) on Sunday.

A Mercedes driver is at 9/2 (5.5) to snatch glory at Silverstone – while we make a McLaren man a 99/1 (100.00) long shot.

We of course have plenty of specials this weekend – and they are not to be missed.

No safety car to be called upon during the race is 41/20 (3.05).

Will it be a red hot contest closer than any so far this season?

Well you can back a winning margin of under five seconds at 13/7 (2.86).
