FORMULA 1 SPANISH GP: BETTING TIPS

RACE WINNERS

Max Verstappen – Winner of the previous two races, the Dutch driver has taken all points on offer in each of the races he’s finished this year. The defending champion is proudly showcasing the true power of his car and his extraordinary talent in extracting the best out of his machine. In last year’s race in Spain, Max missed out on pole by a narrow margin, 0.036, something he will be keen on securing, giving him the best chance in the race on Sunday. We are pricing the Red Bull superstar to win in Spain at 1/1 (2.00).

Charles Leclerc – Championship leader Charles Leclerc has had a couple of disappointing races after a stellar start to the season. As we saw in the opening Grand Prix, the Ferrari is a step or two above the competitors, giving the Monegasque a great shot at the world title. Leclerc is at 5/4 (2.25) to win in Spain and increase the gap on his championship rival even more.

Carlos Sainz – The Spaniard will be eyeing next weekend as one of his best chances to get his first-ever win in Formula 1, and what better way to do it than on home soil. Carlos has been struggling for consistency, something that he was praised for last year, but his no-points finish in both Australia and Imola were damaging to his push for the Drivers Championship. We are pricing Carlos Sainz to win at 11/1 (12.00)

TOP 3 FINISHERS

Sergio Perez – The Mexican driver has gotten his Red Bull in great positions this season, second place in Australia and Imola ranking great points for the Constructors Championship, – one of the biggest priorities for the team. We are pricing Checo to be on the podium at 9/11 (1.82)

Lewis Hamilton – Mercedes have brought upgrades to Spain, which will alleviate the record world champion’s chances of getting back to competing for victories. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has excellent memories for Hamilton as he won the Grand Prix six times, more than any other driver. LV BET is pricing Lewis Hamilton’s chances of getting into the top three at 4/1 (5.00)

Lando Norris – McLaren have reported that they have resolved their brake issues which hindered their performance in the opening races which saw the brakes overheating. Lando Norris has been the driver for McLaren to have outperformed the capabilities of the car clinching a podium finish in Imola. Lando Norris to register his second podium finish of the season is at 11/1 (10.00)

CONSTRUCTOR BETTING

We are pricing both McLaren cars to get into the points at 7/4 (2.75), whilst Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen are at 5/1 (6.00)

LV BET is also pricing any Williams car to be the first retiree of the race at 9/2 (5.50), with Ferrari at 9/11 (1.82) to set the fastest lap.
