CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINALS: BETTING TIPS

BAYERN MUNICH VS VILLARREAL

In Spain, Bayern Munich were given a good run for their money as they faced an excellent Villarreal which defended well, closed gaps and limited the attacking force of the Germans. The Spanish side currently occupies the seventh position in La Liga, out of the European places for next season. In the Champions League, Unai Emery sets up his team brilliantly to compete with Europe’s best sides at the moment.

Bayern Munich had chances but was thwarted by an inspired Rulli together with his well-marshalled backline. At the weekend, a solitary goal from the usual source Robert Lewandowski was enough to secure yet another three points against Augsburg as they prepare to face a difficult side in mid-week. At the Allianz Arena, the German giants will have the full backing of their adoring fans as they push to reach yet another Semi-Final.

Robert Lewandowski is bound to have his say in the tie and it is priced at 2/5 (1.40) to score anytime during the match.

Both teams to score is valued at 4/5 (1.80)

MATCH ODDS: Bayern Munich are the favourites to win as they are valued at 2/7 (1.28), whilst Villarreal are at 9/1 (10.00) and a draw at 11/2 (6.50).

REAL MADRID VS CHELSEA

After a magical night at Stamford Bridge for Karim Benzema and his Real Madrid side, the Spanish side are in a commanding position in the tie, but the defending Champions cannot be written off just yet. Real Madrid saw off Getafe at the weekend as they came out victorious 2-0, thanks to strikes from Casemiro and Vazquez.

On the other hand, Chelsea travelled to Southampton and put on a brilliant display by winning 6-0, which will be great preparation for the second leg as they face a tough task ahead to overturn a 3-1 defeat. In the first leg, the Blues lost control of the ball in the middle of the park too much with Real Madrid taking advantage of it to fashion great scoring chances.

In the second leg, it will be a question of who will score the first goal; if the home side score first, it will cut off any possibility of a comeback, whilst if the Blues score first, the momentum will be with the English side.

Chelsea to score first in the match is priced at 33/20 (2.65)

Karim Benzema to score anytime during the match at 49/50 (1.98)

Both teams to score is valued at 3/5 (1.60)

MATCH ODDS: Real Madrid are priced at 13/9 (2.45) to secure the tie with another win whilst Chelsea are at 19/10 (2.90) to win and a draw at 23/9 (3.55)

LIVERPOOL VS BENFICA

Liverpool got themselves in a commanding position as they won away from home 3-1 against Benfica, but a goal for the away side in the early stages can change everything up. Liverpool showed great attacking momentum in Portugal and limited Benfica as much as possible when playing away from home.

Against City, they managed to hold on to a draw at the weekend as they were put under great pressure, but such resilience makes the squad very difficult to beat, especially at home. Benfica sailed past bottom side B-SAD as they consolidated third place in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

At Anfield, it will be a question of how long will it take for the home side to press on to find the first goal of the game and secure the tie as the English side might have more than what Benfica can handle.

We are pricing a comfortable result for the home side to win with a correct score of 2-0 at 13/2 (7.50)

Diogo Jota to score anytime during the match at 49/50 (1.98)

MATCH ODDS: Liverpool who are the overwhelming favourites, are priced at 2/7 (1.28), whilst Benfica are at 9/1 (10.00) and a draw at 5/1 (6.00)
