EUROPA LEAGUE QUARTER-FINALS: BETTING TIPS

ATALANTA VS RB LEIPZIG

In Germany, the first leg finished in a draw of 1-1, with both sides playing expansive football resulting in an open game with plenty of chances. During the game, both teams combined hit the post three times – which is evidence that it was all to play for, with both teams creating fantastic chances to score.

Due to the scrapping of the away goal rule, it will go down to who can get the better of the other team in Bergamo. At the weekend, Atalanta suffered yet another damaging defeat, this time to the hand of Sassuolo, as they fluttered in their attempts to keep up with Lazio and Roma for a place in next year’s European placed. On the other hand, RB Leipzig registered a great victory against Hoffenheim, winning 3-0 on the day. Christopher Nkunku added to his season tally; the Frenchman has acquired 17 goals and 12 assists to his name in his best season yet.

We are anticipating a similar game with a lot of chances created, and thus we are pricing both teams to score at 4/7 (1.57)

Christopher Nkunku to score anytime during the match is at 13/7 (2.85)

MATCH ODDS: Atalanta are priced at 33/20 (2.65) to win, whilst Leipzig are at 33/20 (2.65), and a draw at 5/2 (3.50)

LYON VS WEST HAM

At the London Stadium, West Ham failed to replicate their dominant display as they did against Sevilla they struggled to retain possession on various occasions. The sending off to Aaron Cresswell changed the game’s dynamic, but after a couple of minutes, Bowen found the net after an opportunistic strike putting the home side in front. In the second half of the game, Lyon piled on the pressure and made their numeric advantage count, levelling out through Tottenham loanee Tanguy Ndombele.

At the weekend, the Hammers crumbled when facing Brentford as they lost out 2-0, making them slip down to sixth place level on points with Manchester United – having played more games than the teams around them. It was a poor overall game, with only one shot registered on target summing up their creativity in the final third. On the other hand, Lyon drew against fourth-placed Strasbourg, which is a good result as they aim to push towards the top half of the table.

We are pricing a close match with under 2.5 goals to be scored in the match at 6/7 (1.85)

Bowen to score anytime during the match at 3/1 (4.00)

MATCH ODDS: Lyon are priced at 11/10 (2.10) whilst West Ham are at 27/10 (3.70) and a draw 22/9 (3.45)

BARCELONA VS EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

In Germany, Barcelona struggled to replicate their terrific form in the league as they drew 1–1 after going behind through a terrific strike by Knauff to put the German side ahead, which Ferran Torres cancelled out just past the hour mark.

At the weekend, Barcelona showed their class by beating Levante 3-2, which saw Levante being awarded three penalties but a late winner by Luuk de Jong in the 90+2 minute sealed the three points. Pedri also showed that he is capable of the spectacular after yet again bursting from the midfield to score a magnificent goal. On the other hand, Eintracht Frankfurt lost at home against Freiburg, all but confirming that they are no longer in contention for European places next year.

We are pricing a comfortable 2-0 win for Barcelona at 27/4 (7.75)

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score anytime during the match is priced at 2/3 (1.67)

MATCH ODDS: Barcelona are at 2/5 (1.40) to win, whilst Eintracht Frankfurt are priced at 7/1 (8.00) and a draw at 79/20 (4.95)

RANGERS VS BRAGA

In the first leg, it was Braga that won the match by 1-0, seeing the Portuguese team beat Rangers for the first time. Braga have progressed from their previous nine ties in the UEFA Cup/Europa League when winning the first leg, with eight of those last nine wins coming in home matches. Rangers failed to direct a single shot on target in a major European game for the first time since November 2009.

At the weekend, Rangers sailed past St. Mirren with a convincing away win of 4-0, with Kemar Roofe netting an impressive hat-trick. On the other hand, Braga found it more difficult to win as they played half the match with 10-men after Oliveira was shown a straight red card for his tackle.

We are pricing both team to score at 6/7 (1.85)

You can also get Rangers to win and over 2.5 goals in the match at 41/20 (3.05).

MATCH ODDS: Rangers are priced at 11/12 (1.92) to win, whilst Braga are at 63/20 (4.15), and a draw at 53/20 (3.65)
