It’s the Carabao Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea.
Obviously, the two Premier League games between these sides have served up lots of quality and two draws – we can’t have that in the final. We need a winner on the day, but who will it be?
They’re two teams that really want to win the game, and they’ll play their strongest teams, I’m sure. It could go either way on the day. It’s very difficult to predict the winner.
As I’ve said before, they’ve had two draws between the sides in the Premier League. Both teams have bags of quality and have a lot of goals in them.
In the game at the Bridge, Liverpool went two goals up before Mateo Kovacic led the comeback with an unbelievable volley. It could have gone either way on the day. To be honest, there was a lot of backwards and forwards between the sides, and I’m expecting it to be a fantastic game this Sunday.
I can’t see the teams sitting back. I think they’ll go at each other and try to win the game. It will be a great day out at a fully Wembley with lots of sunshine. As I said, it’s a very difficult game to predict, but I do have my Liverpool hat on, don’t I?
I’m going to say that the game will go to extra time, and I’ll say that Liverpool nick it 2-1.
Although I’ve gone with Liverpool as the overall winners, I’ll go with Chelsea to score the first goal. Lukaku sticks out, but I think the first goal will come from Kai Havertz. I’ll go with Kai Havertz to score the first goal for Chelsea.
