PREMIER LEAGUE ROUND 29: BETTING TIPS

ARSENAL VS LEICESTER CITY

Arsenal host Leicester in the hopes that they can make it five wins from five and push them even closer to their ultimate goal, top four. After winning against Wolves, Watford and Brentford, the Gunners are looking the most likely to take the last Champions League place, which considering the manner in which they started the season, is a considerable improvement under the tenancy of coach Mikel Arteta. The Spanish coach has trusted his young guns, Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard to shine and get results for the squad.

On the other hand, Leicester have dropped to 12th place in the Premier League, which is a disappointing position when compared to how they faired last season when they finished fifth, just a point shy of Champions League football. Brendan Rodgers will be aware of what Arsenal are capable of when given the space but also aware of set pieces that have been the Achilles’ heel for the Foxes this season.

Arsenal are the favourites to come out on top at the Emirates as they are priced at 13/25 (1.52), while a Leicester win is at 49/10 (5.90), and a draw at 73/20 (4.65).

MANCHESTER UNITED VS TOTTENHAM

Manchester United host Tottenham at Old Trafford in the hopes that they can get back to winning ways after a defeat against Manchester City and a frustrating draw against Watford. After such disappointing results, the Red Devils have relatively fallen off the pecking order to get into the fourth spot as they played two games more than their rivals. Interim manager Ralf Ragnick is still to gel his team together and squeeze out a convincing 90 minutes out of his players as in recent games they have performed well in either half only.

Similarly, Tottenham’s hopes for the top four has taken a hit with defeats against Burnley, Wolves and Southampton. Antonio Conte admitted that should Spurs manage to get top four at the end of the season, it would be equivalent to winning the Champions League. In their latest game against Everton, Tottenham dominated the game and fashioned out great chances, which reflected in the scoreline at the end (5-0).

With both teams struggling to get points on the board consistently, this game is primed to offer a great spectacle.

Manchester United are valued at 23/20 (2.15), while Tottenham are at 5/2 (3.50), and a draw at 23/9 (3.55).

WEST HAM UNITED VS ASTON VILLA

West Ham, who are currently sixth in the Premier League, have struggled in their recent games.  Draws against Leicester and Newcastle and a defeat against Liverpool have pushed the Hammers down in the pecking order. At Anfield, West Ham fans saw their team’s potential to get a draw against one of the best sides on the island, especially with the sheer number of missed opportunities towards the end of the game. Although Jarrod Bowen will most likely be out through injury as he limped off last weekend, the return of Declan Rice will reinforce the midfield.

Aston Villa last weekend enjoyed a spectacular game against Southampton when a revitalised Phillipe Coutinho took centre stage, scoring and creating goals. Ollie Watkins partnering with Danny Ings up front might be the perfect recipe for Steven Gerrard going forward.

West Ham are priced at 23/20 (2.15), while Aston Villa are at 13/5 (3.60), and a draw at 12/5 (3.40).

BRENTFORD VS BURNLEY

After going on an eight-game winless streak, Brentford tasted victory last time out against a struggling Norwich City. Ivan Toney registered his first Premier League hat-trick against Norwich, which boosted his overall tally to nine, with the hopes to push into double digits next weekend when they face the Clarets.

Burnley have been uplifted with their recent victories against Brighton and Tottenham, which saw them make their way into the 18th spot, just one point below Everton. Sean Dyche will continue to do what he does best, and motivate his side to stay in the Premier League for another season.

Brentford line up at 7/6 (2.17), while Burnley are priced at 11/4 (3.75), and a draw at 9/4 (3.25).
