European hosts dial up the summer excitement as preparations for one of football’s biggest competitions get underway. 

Join us as we take a tour of the European continent and explore which Euro 2020 (2021) venues our favourite international teams and players will be entertaining us at. 

Where will the EURO 2020 (2021) be held?

Unlike previous years, Euro 2020 (2021) will not be hosted by either a single nation or by two co-hosts. UEFA EURO 2020 (2021) will be held across 12 host cities from 11 June until 11 July 2021, with the semi-finals and the final being held at Wembley Stadium in London.

Euro 2020 (2021) Host Cities

For the first time in its 60-year history, 12 designated cities in Europe have been selected to host the tournament, making Euro 2020 (2021) the first time that the competition spans across the continent. 

The chosen host cities are: 

  • London, England
  • Baku, Azerbaijan
  • Munich, Germany
  • Rome, Italy
  • Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • Seville, Spain
  • Bucharest, Romania
  • Budapest, Hungary
  • Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Saint Petersburg, Russia
  • Glasgow, Scotland

Euro 2020 (2021) Stadiums

Each of the chosen 12 host cities will provide Euro 2020 (2021) with a stadium for teams to compete in during different stages of the competition. 

These stadiums include: 

England’s Wembley Stadium will host the final and semi-finals, two round of 16 games and three group games for Group D.

The Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan will host one quarter-final and three group games for Group A. 

Germany’s Football Arena München will host one quarter-final and three group games for Group F. 

Italy’s Olimpico in Rome will host one quarter-final and three group games for Group A. 

The Saint Petersburg Stadium in Russia will host one quarter-final, three group games for Group B and three Group E matches.

Johan Cruijff Arena in the Netherlands will host one round of 16 game and three group games for Group C.

The Estadio La Cartuja in Spain will host one round of 16 game and three group games for Group E.

Romania’s National Arena Bucharest will host one round of 16 game and three group games for Group C.

The Puskás Aréna in Hungary will host one round of 16 game and three group games for Group F.

Denmark’s Parken Stadium will host one round of 16 game and three group games for Group B.

Scotland’s Hampden Park will host one round of 16 game and three group games for Group D.
