The EURO 2020 (2021) Round of 16 gets underway this weekend, with Roberto Mancini’s Italy travelling to take on Austria at Wembley Stadium, London.

Italy finished their group stage with all nine points, scoring seven goals in three games and even finding the time to field 25 players out of their 26-man squad. The Azzurri have set the competition alight, pushing past all of opponents with relative ease and moving up the outright winner ranks of the tournament – now in third place at 6/1 (7.00) to win the EURO 2020 (2021).

Since his appointment as the Italian national team manager, Roberto Mancini has set his side to purpose. Under the watchful eye of the ex-Sampdoria player, Italy has gone on to enjoy a 30 game unbeaten run – in the last 11 of which they haven’t even conceded a single goal.

Although they no longer employ a traditionally successful Italian style of football, the Azzurri have still shown themselves to be a very deadly side. Relentless in their application, effort and energy, Italian players are developing a ruthless reputation on the international stage. Once the scent of their opponents’ blood is in the air, Mancini is happy for his side to ease up defensively and go on the hunt – with a flurry of goals for Italy often the likeliest outcome.

This Saturday, Italy are measured at 1/4 (1.25) to qualify for the next stage of the EURO 2020 (2021) competition.

The Azzurri come in at 9/1 (10.00) to replicate their first two results in the tournament and beat Austria 3-0.

Italy’s leading goalscorer, Ciro Immobile, is at 7/2 (4.50) to get the first goal of the fixture and at 6/5 (2.20) to score anytime against their Austrian opponents this Saturday.

Unlike their opponents this Saturday, Austria have had a tougher time making it out of their group. A 2-0 loss against the Netherlands left Das Team scrambling for a win in their last game of the group stage against Ukraine.

Fortunately for Austria, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim’s young attacking midfield talisman, Christoph Baumgartner, was on hand to deliver a killer blow to Andriy Shevchenko’s Ukrainian side in the 21st minute of the game. Three points proved enough to see Austria qualify past the group stage and guarantee them a historical first-ever fixture in the knockout stages of a European Championship.

The Austrians now face the daunting task of beating a flying Italian team at Wembley Stadium this Saturday. Past matchups between the pair make for grim reading, with Italy having beaten Austria in all four of their meetings at international competitions. That being said, manager Franco Foda will be readying his side to defy the odds and prove that anything is possible in an international knockout tournament.

Austria come in at 29/10 (3.90) to qualify into the later stages of the competition.

The Austrians are at 10/1 (11.00) to win the game, with both sides finding the back of the net.

If you think it will be a close encounter, we’ve got Austria to win 1-0 at 13/1 (14.00) and both teams to score under three goals at 1/3 (1.33).

Italy line up as the team to beat at 5/9 (1.55) to win, with Austria measuring up at 13/2 (7.50).
