SPAIN

First game jitters won’t be an excuse this time around when goal-shy Spain welcome a wounded Polish national side to the La Cartuja Stadium in Seville for the second round of Group E fixtures.

A 0-0 stalemate in their first game last Monday brought to bear Spain’s need for an attacking threat in front of goal – an issue that their upcoming opponents won’t have, with superstar Robert Lewandowski leading the line.

While they were unable to find the back of the net, Luis Enrique’s side boasted a staggering 86% of the possession against Sweden, a statistic likely to be replicated this Saturday against Poland. La Furia Roja were also able to conjure up several fantastic opportunities in front of goal, proving that a sprinkle of quality could quickly transform their fortunes.

With the Spanish National team crying out for a goal scorer, Alvaro Morata comes in at 19/20 (1.95) to find his scoring boots, while Ferran Torres measures up at 6/5 (2.20) to score at any time.

Spain are measured at 13/7 (2.85) to get the win with both teams finding the net and at 9/2 (5.50) to win by a narrow margin of 1-0

POLAND

Things couldn’t have gone much worse for Poland during their opening fixture of the EURO 2020 (2021) tournament.

The Eagles were able to level the score (1-1) early in the second half after an own goal by goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny left Poland trailing at the break. Unfortunately for Paulo Sousa’s side, things quickly took a turn for the worse.

Lokomotiv Moscow’s Grzegorz Krychowiak became the first player in the tournament to receive his marching orders after receiving a red card for a late challenge on Jakub Hromada. Seven minutes later, Milan Skriniar put his side 2-1 up, allowing the Slovakians to easily soak up the pressure for the remainder of the game and take all three points on offer.

This time around, Poland face a different beast entirely. And, although Spain haven’t gotten off to the best of starts (0-0 vs Sweden), The Eagles won’t want to be handing them any favours this Saturday.

Captain Robert Lewandowski is measured at 7/1 (8.00) to score the first goal this Saturday and at 11/5 (3.20) to find the back of the net at any time during Poland’s encounter with Spain.

The teams are at 21/5 (5.20) to produce a thriller and score over four goals and at 27/7 (4.85) to end the day with an equal share of the spoils.
