PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURES: ROUND 11 BETTING TIPS

Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Under the tutelage of Rafael Benítez, Everton have won four out of their 10 league games, losing just as many and drawing two. The Toffees have scored just as many goals as they have conceded, 16, leaving them an uncomfortable 10th place position.

Going into their fixture against a newly managed Tottenham side, Everton find themselves on the back end of three losses – 1-0 vs West Ham, 5-2 vs Watford and 2-1 vs Wolves. However, recent history is on the side of The Blues, who have only lost one game against Spurs in their last six, winning two and drawing three.

It’s not a stretch to say that things haven’t been going well for Tottenham.

In ninth place and just a point above their upcoming rivals, Spurs were forced to part ways with Nuno Espirito Santos after just 124 days. With more than a good part of a season left to play, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has seen fit to hire serial-winner Antonio Conte to help turn around the fortunes of the North London club.

While he comes with a backing of trophies and experience, the Italian manager still has quite the job on his hands. The first objective will be to get the fans on board with his project. Supporter discontent was ripe in Tottenham’s last 3-0 loss to Manchester City, with sections of the home crowd even turning on club-captain Harry Kane.

Both managers will have something to prove come this Sunday when Everton host Tottenham at Goodison Park.

West Ham United vs Liverpool

West Ham United find themselves in fine form ahead of a massive encounter with Liverpool this Sunday.

The Hammers have exploded onto the scene and positioned themselves as the best of the rest in fourth place, just two points behind their upcoming opponents and five points off the league leaders Chelsea.

Recent wins against Everton (1-0), Tottenham (1-0) and Aston Villa (4-1) have shown just how much David Moyes has done in his short time in London; however, a fixture against the 19/20 Premier League champions, Liverpool, promises to be a different beast entirely.

Barring one hiccup against Brighton & Hove Albion (2-2), Liverpool have enjoyed excellent recent form in the Premier League and Champions League. Unbeaten in both, Klopp’s side have scored 29 goals in the league, and although they’re not leading the pack, one misstep from Chelsea could see the table look quite different come the end of the week.

Since December 2017, Liverpool have dominated this fixture; they’ve won eight of their ten games against West Ham, drawing only two. The Reds have scored 29 games over these fixtures and conceded only nine goals in the last four years against the London side.
