PREMIER LEAGUE GAME WEEK 31 – PREVIEW

Premier League

The Premier League enters a critical phase, teams need to buck up their ideas and efforts as they reach the final stretch of a long season. This is where we’ll see the mental aspect of the game coming into play even more. What will the coming Premier League weekend bring? Will we have surprise results? Hopefully, we won’t have more bad calls from the match officials—we’ve had enough of them.

Aston Villa V Newcastle

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: W – W – W – W – D V W – W – W – W – W

Two in-form teams go head-to-head this weekend at Villa Park. Unai Emery’s team has recovered to sixth place after an impressive run of four consecutive wins. A stern task is ahead of them as Newcastle United come to town next and they are running hot—five wins on the bounce, scoring a minimum of two goals each game.

It will be an exciting game from a neutral point of view, both teams like to go on the attack, we might expect a cagey first couple of minutes but both will surely push the envelope in the second half. Both Ollie Watkins and Alexander Isak are playing some fantastic football and amongst the goals lately. Will we see them score anytime during the game?  Both players to score is priced at 7.35, offered on the bet builder section.

Newcastle need to put pressure on other teams around them and get the result, with their early kick off game they can do their part first, but it’s easier said than done.

Match Odds: Aston Villa are priced at 3.55 to win whilst Newcastle come in at 2.20, and a draw valued at 3.45

Chelsea V Brighton

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: L – D – L – D – W V L – W – D – W – D

Another frustrating game for the Blues as they fell to a defeat against Wolves. Now, they host Brighton who also lost out to Tottenham in their respective game, which had some questionable officiating. For the second time, Brighton and Hove Albion have been issued an apology from the PGMOL due to a bad decision taken against them during a match.

Chelsea looked devoid of confidence and lacking ideas in the final third, something that Frank Lampard has struggled to implement during his first stint as a manager with Chelsea. It will be an interesting spectacle to see how Chelsea set up against an all-round solid squad who are well capable of hurting them. Chelsea need to avoid another embarrassing viewing at Stamford Bridge, especially just before their crucial Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.

We are pricing Brighton to score first at 2.05 and the final result being a 1-1 draw at 6.50

Match Odds: Chelsea are the slight favourites to win at 2.55, whilst Brighton are at 2.85 and a draw at 3.45.

West Ham V Arsenal

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: W – L – W – D – L V D – W – W – W – W

A mixed bag of emotions for Arsenal, after letting a two goal advantage dissipate at Anfield, knowing that Man City are ready to pounce at any opportunity afforded to them. Next up for the Gunners are West Ham who are in a relegation tussle, sitting just three points above the drop zone. David Moyes has been under pressure due to the dip in form, but recent wins against Fulham away from home and against Southampton, elevated them to 14th place.

Arsenal will look to break down the Hammers as quickly as possible, as we have seen in other games, Mikel Arteta wants his team quick out of the blocks to find an early goal to cool off the nerves. Against Liverpool, Rob Holding was a weak point in Arsenal’s defence, booting the ball away when his manager visibly wanted him to keep circling possession. These are the key areas where small decisions can have big consequences.

We are pricing a healthy 3-0 victory for Arsenal at 12.00, with Gabriel Jesus to score anytime during the game at 2.25.

Match Odds: West Ham come in at 6.00 to cause an upset whilst Arsenal are priced at 1.60 and a draw at 4.25.
