LIVERPOOL

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: D – W – W – D – L

Liverpool currently sit in seventh place, nine points off fourth place, and for the calibre of team and manager, it’s not where they should be. After pushing Manchester City until the very end of last season and reaching the Champions League final with nothing to show for it, the team looks drained. The belief that they can compete at a very high level is slowly disappearing, especially after being humiliated by Real Madrid a couple of weeks ago.

Key players such as Virgil Van Dijk, Henderson, Gomez, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are in a massive dip in form, and it’s not easy to get out of the rout. The midfield has been a weakness this season, with Jurgen Klopp roping in Arthur Melo to ease the burden, but he suffered a long term injury and never featured for the Reds.

One thing is certain, against Manchester United, the team will pick up the pieces and go out all guns blazing. The midfield battle will be crucial for Liverpool if they need to stand a chance of winning, Bajčetić has been the diamond in the mud for Jurgen Klopp, but lacks the killer pass—understandable for an 18 year old.

We are pricing a low-scoring match with under 2.5 goals during the match valued at 6/5 (2.20), whilst a correct score victory for the home side of 1-0 is at 9/1 (10.00), pushing Liverpool in contention for the top four places once again.

MANCHESTER UNITED

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: W – W – D – W – L

Manchester United has come a long way since beating Liverpool at Old Trafford. In the reverse fixture, United managed to secure the three points serving them a solid springboard to continue building belief, and the results soon began pouring in. Ten Hag sealed his first trophy while managing the Red Devils and now faces the test of Anfield.

Confidence will be running high in the United ranks; the football is great and the results are positive, Ten Hag will make sure that his team stays grounded. United are the only team that is still in the shout for all four competitions, winning at Anfield will add another talking point in favour of United for the Premier League title. Casemiro, together with either Fred or Sabitzer, will look to dominate the midfield, feeding Marcus Rashford to continue his scoring spree.

United haven’t won at Anfield since 2016 when, Wayne Rooney scored the only goal of the game, should the Red Devils win this weekend it would be a huge mental obstacle overcame.

We are pricing Manchester United to win 2-1 at 9/1 (10.00), with a United to win either half at 11/12 (1.92)

MATCH ODDS

Despite the recent poor run of form from Liverpool, Manchester United has lost three of their last five away meeting against Liverpool – Liverpool to win the game at 11/8 (2.37). A very important win at Anfield is priced at 17/9 (2.90) for Manchester United. LV BET is also pricing a draw at 11/4 (3.75)
