Fulham V Arsenal

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: L – D – W – W – D v W – W – W – W – L

A very interesting match up at Craven Cottage as Fulham take on league leaders Arsenal. It was an uphill battle last time out for Arsenal, going two down against Bournemouth. However, title-winning teams always find a way to turn it around and that is exactly what Arsenal can do, as they have shown.

Against Brentford, Fulham struggled to cope with the runs behind their left backs and that is something that Mikel Arteta’s team loves doing. Arsenal usually set up a triangle on each side to help getting Ben White, Saka, Trossard and Zinchenko to the byline and deliver the killer pass. For the home side, it’s going to be a tough ask but, as we saw in previous games, Arsenal can be vulnerable at times especially at the back when they are caught off guard.

The midfield battle against Brentford was different with Palhinha suspended and the same could be against Arsenal. He has proven to be a crucial player for the London based team. We are pricing Arsenal to win and over 2.5 goals at 7/5 (2.40), with Bukayo Saka to score anytime during the game at 7/4 (2.75)

Match Odds: Fulham are priced at 5/1 (6.00) to shock us all as they take on Arsenal at 4/7 (1.57) to win and a draw comes in at 33/10 (4.30)

Tottenham Hotspurs V Nottingham Forest

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: L – W – W – L – W v D – L – D – L – W

Spurs have suffered two consecutive defeats both away from home with identical scores of 1-0. Against Wolves, it has to be said that they were unlucky not to score, hitting the woodwork on three occasions and, when the game was destined to end in a draw, Adama Traore graced the bar to score the winner. It has been a season full of ups and downs for Tottenham, winning against Manchester City but then losing to Wolves, Leicester and Sheffield.

On the other hand, Nottingham Forest failed to beat Everton last time out, which held them back in terms of creating a bigger gap away from the relegation zone. Steven Cooper will be delighted with the double that Brennan Johnson scored against Everton, giving the young Welshman a big boost in confidence ahead of the big game.

It’s difficult to predict such a game, as Tottenham can play some outstanding football or else lack the energy to match Forest, especially with the Champions League tie in midweek. We are pricing Nottingham Forest to score first at 8/3 (3.65), with Spurs winning the game and under 2.5 goals to be scored at 12/5 (3.40)

Match Odds: Tottenham start the contest the favourites at 5/12 (1.42), with Nottingham Forest at 7/1 (8.00) to win and a draw is at 23/6 (4.85)

Leicester City v Chelsea

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: L – L – L – W – W v W – L – L – D – D

Another enticing contest this weekend between the Foxes and Chelsea who registered their first win in a long time against Leeds. Both teams are struggling for points, with Leicester going on a three-game losing streak and, up against a downbeat Chelsea, they might fancy their chances.

At Stamford Bridge, it was make or break for Graham Potter, who knows what would have happened if they did not win—the feeling around the squad is that they have what it takes to win games but are falling short at the last hurdle. The last hurdle is the finishing of chances which, without a recognised striker— besides Pierre Emerick-Aubumeyang—is proving to be a difficult nut to crack. The Foxes lost out to Southampton who occupy the last place jointly with Bournemouth and its brewing up to be a fascinating end to the campaign for all the teams fighting for survival.

By the looks of it, it will be a highly combative game with most of the play in the middle of the park. We are going for under 2.50 goals in the game at 7/8 (1.88), with Chelsea keeping a clean sheet at 17/10 (2.70)

Match Odds: Leicester City are priced at 3/1 (4.00) with Chelsea slightly the favourite going into this game at 49/50 (1.98), and a draw at 8/3 (3.65)

Bournemouth v Liverpool

PREMIER LEAGUE FORM: L – L – W – D – L v W – W – D – W – W

Languishing at the very bottom of the Premier League is none other than Bournemouth who, despite putting up a good fight against league leaders Arsenal, is in dire need of points. Billing and Senesi did well to put the Cherries in front, but an eventual collapse meant that Bournemouth would return home with empty pockets. Given the nightmarish reverse fixture result of 9-0 against Liverpool, Gary O’Neil’s men will have to do considerably better this time round.

Liverpool seems to be on the mend as of late, having accumulated four wins from the last five games in the Premier League. The Reds’ 7-0 trashing of Manchester United made headlines around the world, but such a flattering scoreline might work against Klopp’s men if their concentration levels falter. With just three points away from Tottenham Hotspur with a game in hand, Liverpool will have to keep their foot on the accelerator to secure a top-four finish.

With Gakpo and Nunez finally easing their tension in front of goal, Liverpool can be confident about firing home some goals. The Reds are priced 5/12 (1.42) to win, while Bournemouth have a mountain to climb as they are priced 25/4 (7.25) to win. A draw is listed at 17/4 (5.25).
