EFL PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW

The Premier League is back and it’s going to be a season like no other, so strap yourself in — turbulence is expected and things are about to get bumpy again!

The predictions are in, signings have been made and now the stage is set.

But there’s one thing everyone should be aware of — the Premier League opening day usually throws up a shock result or two.

It all starts on Friday night as Crystal Palace host Arsenal, and after an error-ridden 3-0 defeat at the end of last season, the Gunners have to get it right this time.

Arsenal are 4/5 (1.80) to leave Selhurst with the win while the Eagles are 11/3 (4.67) to repeat the trick.

Despite a great summer, we have Mikel Arteta’s men at 33/1 (34.00) to win the league.

Again, we make Manchester City the title favourites at 3.5 (1.60) but they have a demanding first day assignment.

Heading to West Ham, LV BET are offering 7/20 (1.35) on the champions to start with victory.

Liverpool sent out a message in the Community Shield triumph last week. Their season starts with a trip to a Fulham side who hasn’t impressed their manager Marco Silva, with quite a slow summer on the transfer front.

The Reds are 5/2 (3.50) to win the Premier League – and 3/10 (1.30) to leave Craven Cottage with three points in the early Saturday kick-off.

Chelsea’s summer has been one of highs and lows as the new owners get their feet under the table.

There still are gaping holes in the Blues and that’s reflected in our title price of 16/1 (17.00).

Everton, who the Blues to face this weekend, has also not convinced this summer. Frank Lampard to beat his old club is priced at 17/4 (5.25).

Unlike last summer, you won’t find too many people who think Manchester United can win the title.

Odds of 28/1 (29.00) paints a picture – but can Erik ten Hag inspire an opening day victory? They are 5/9 (1.56) to beat Brighton.

Tottenham Hotspur are one of a few clubs who have really impressed with their business.

Spurs face Southampton and are 3.8 (1.38) to get off to a winning start.

Elsewhere, Leicester City host Brentford and AFC Bournemouth’s return to the top flight sees them welcome Aston Villa.

Newcastle and Nottingham Forest face off while Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers will both want to perform better in the Premier League this time around.
